softer, gentler way of saying
abortion.
There are two casualties in
every abortion - one dead; one
wounded. Most people don’t
know the details involved in
abortion. One-sided view portrayed
by media. People hear of the
social, moral, even religious
reasons for having or not having
an abortion - but know little

woman’s uterus is small
and tight (like a fist). The
cervix is very soft. A pregnant
woman’s uterus is larger
and soft and the cervix is
tightly closed. Abortionists
use pliers to open the cervix
and dilators to stretch it.
Many complications occur from
the use of the knife, suction
vacuum and scraper. There
are a tremendous number of
veins and arteries in this
area and often tears and perforations
occur, resulting in hemorrhaging.

on non-pregnant women.
Abortion counselors feel
“obliged” to protect
women from any information
which might be disturbing
or discouraging.
